As the name implies, all our members are mothers! MomChoir rehearses on Tuesday nights from 7:30-9:30 in Edgemont Village in North Vancouver. We are a treble choir, made up of 4 sections: alto 1, alto 2, soprano 1 and soprano 2. Ability to read music is a huge asset, but not essential, as we have hard-working section leaders who record rehearsal tracks of their parts. Sectional rehearsals are frequently scheduled and an effort to attend is expected. We are an off-book performance choir, so you will be expected to learn and memorize the repertoire. We meet over two terms - January to June, and September to December. Seasonal showcase performances occur at the end of each term, and smaller performances are often added throughout the season.
